Posting Summary
The Office of Animal Care Management (OACM) is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Clinical Veterinarian to augment our current veterinary team of one University Veterinarian and two Veterinary Technicians, supported by a team of eight contract animal care staff, at the University of Vermont (UVM). Our research program uses primarily rodents, zebrafish, and biomedical sheep and pigs. OACM also employs a Business Manager and an Administrative Assistant.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
DVM or equivalent.
Vermont veterinary license within 6 months of employment.
USDA accreditation and DEA registration within 3 months of attaining VT veterinary license.
Good interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.

Special Conditions
Weekend work required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, Travel to and from worksites required, 75% of full time with full benefits package, After this week, position posted until filled
