The RSPCA is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to join their team. This role is integral to the strategic leadership and operational management of the Veterinary team, ensuring best-practice animal care and service delivery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage clinical education programs, and align the veterinary team's objectives with the organisation's strategic goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in advancing the mission of a leading animal welfare organisation.

With a new campus and a state-of-the art veterinary clinic, the new role will be instrumental in developing our clinical capacity and vision. Working closely with the Executive Team, the Clinical Services Manager will explore and present opportunities to best utilise our new facilities in the best interest of RSPCA SA and animal welfare - be it through expansion into wildlife, commercial opportunities or outreach into our communities.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Animal Operations to develop and implement annual strategic and business plans.
  • Lead clinical governance to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Research industry best practice clinical services both nationally and internationally.
  • Investigate, develop and expand clinical services to maximise use of the Veterinary Centre facility.
  • Coordinate large scale operations including planning for large-scale seizures and disaster response.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the Veterinary Team, including development of performance goals and plans.

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven capability to work with diverse stakeholders, managing relationships and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and analysing data against deliverables; agility in applying data in real time and to drive strategy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in leading and coaching people and managing diverse project teams.
  • A can-do and positive attitude to problem solving and providing solutions. Commitment to process improvement.
  • Committed to achieving goals; deadlines and coordinating others (internal or external) to deliver on time and to standard.
