Description
The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science is an innovative and forward thinking school at University of Nottingham. This has been demonstrated by the dramatic increase of our student numbers by moving to a dual intake system. In September 2019 150 undergraduate students started with us, with a further 150 starting in April 2020. We have been consistently ranked #1 in NSS survey since our first graduating cohort in 2011 and in the most recent REF we ranked 2nd in the UK for research power. We are also the only veterinary school who are holders of an ASPIRE award, recognising our excellence in student engagement.
We are now seeking a number of key staff to support our School in order to continue to deliver at the same high standard we have become well known for.
You will be a key part of the stage of our exciting journey, as we look to continue to push the boundaries and develop a world leading Veterinary School.
We are seeking the following staff to provide clinical services to the School’s Clinical Associate practices and participate in the clinical training of final year veterinary undergraduates:
Clinical Associate Professor in Small Animal Practice
Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Practice (fixed term)
Clinical Assistant Professor in Exotic Animal Practice
Part of these roles will involve driving to remote locations that can’t be accessed by public transport therefore a Full UK driving licence is essential.
This application is only for Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Practice (fixed term). You will need to apply for the others roles separately.
This role is available on a full time (36.25 hour), fixed term contract until 30/11/2022. Job share arrangements may be considered.
