Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a team oriented and client focused individual to join the client services team at the University of Adelaide’s Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital.
We are currently looking for a full time, continuing Client Services Officer.
The Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital is situated on a 1600 ha property and is the school’s clinical teaching facility which operates on a commercial basis, offering a range of first opinion and specialist veterinary services across all species to the general public and referring veterinarians.
Reporting to the Business Systems Supervisor, this role is key to providing a range of operational, administrative and transactional services in a diverse and dynamic clinical environment.
As the first point of contact for our clients you will provide friendly and professional face to face customer service. Key tasks will include managing incoming telephone calls, scheduling of appointments through the practice software, taking payments and balancing transactions, general data entry and business administration.
The role requires proficient computer skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver consistent, professional service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will require a high-level customer service focus, be enthusiastic, reliable, and possess excellent organisational skills and a willingness to work as part of a team to deliver successful outcomes for the hospital and a quality client experience.
This is a full-time position working over various shifts between 7am and 8pm including some weekend shifts.
To be successful you will need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience delivering a professional level of customer service
- Proven experience working in a team administration environment
- IT literate with Microsoft Office experience
- Animal handling experience and a basic understanding of animal husbandry.
