Vetnostics (a subsidiary of Laverty Pathology) is a specialist veterinary pathology laboratory dedicated to providing a premier diagnostic pathology service to veterinarians. Vetnostics boasts an exceptional team of dedicated and experienced veterinary pathologists. The service offers a wide range of veterinary pathology laboratory testing, including biochemistry and haematology, microbiology, endocrinology, serology, histopathology and cytology. We pride ourselves on providing a quality veterinary pathology service.

Vetnostics is part of the national Specialist Veterinary Services (SVS) Pathology Network – Australia’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Specialists - with Vetnostics being the state-based point of service in NSW and ACT within a national network.   Reporting to the national veterinary pathology business development partner, we are currently seeking a Veterinary Client Liaison Officer.

Based in North Ryde, this is a full-time role working 38.0 hours per week. Some regional travel will be required in this role.  Attractive remuneration will be offered to the successful candidate.

This position is responsible for maintaining existing client relationships as well as building new client relationships through the identification of business opportunities.

 
Key responsibilities of this role

  • Maintaining and improving existing customer service and client relationships
  • Building new customer relationships
  • Strengthen and build market position - identify new opportunities for growth
  • Providing client support, acting as a customer advocate covering all areas of service delivery.
  • Collaborating with management to support our business to provide a quality and efficient service
  • Networking - attend relevant events such as Continuing Education Sessions and Marketing and Promotional Events
  • Meet required behavioural (customer, operational & functional) and financial KPI’s (as determined by the business)
  • Working with key operational team members to manage customer and laboratory expectations

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in the veterinary industry
  • A strong sales and customer service management background, with a proven record of achieving team targets.
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication skills
  • A level of initiative and be self-driven
