Animal Health Australia (AHA) is the trusted and independent national animal health body in Australia, bringing together government and industry to deliver animal biosecurity. In collaboration with their members, they scan the horizon for threats and opportunities, advocate for and drive solutions and take a whole of sector approach to ensure the long-term success of Australia’s animal health and biosecurity system.

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reporting to the Board Chair you will support the development of the new 5-year strategic plan and develop strategies to ensure AHA has the governance and capability to sustainably deliver the goals and objectives.

Your ability to build partnerships, lead consultation and drive member engagement to work together to achieve a common outcome will be a key factor in successfully delivering AHA’s vision. This will be supported by thought leadership and generating valuable insights harnessing data.

We are seeking an experienced executive leader who creates strong values-based cultures and high performing customer-centric / member-centric teams. Knowledge of Australia’s animal health and biosecurity systems, experience leading in a member organisation, and managing technical / scientific teams are all desirable attributes but are not essential.
