Ced Wise AB Services is a specialist bovine reproduction service provider. Services are provided within our custom built reproduction centre based at Glen Aplin, in the picturesque Granite Belt Region of Southern Qld and also throughout Queensland and Northern NSW on clients properties.
Our veterinarians are experts in the field, with the founding veterinarian, Dr Ced Wise being one of the pioneers of Embryo Transfer (ET). We are focused on providing a close team environment with the open sharing of knowledge and procedures to ensure we deliver the best results to our clients and further our staff's skill sets.

 

Ced Wise AB Services is seeking a passionate cattle veterinarian or experienced cattle reproduction technician to join the team. The position would see the applicant working with elite stud cattle producers at both our repro centre at Glen Aplin, QLD and throughout the majority of QLD and northern NSW performing the following tasks:

  • Artificial Insemination (applicant must be proficient in AI)
  • Embryo flushing and transfer
  • Semen collection
  • Semen testing and bull soundness evaluations (using manual palpation)
  • Pregnancy testing (ultrasound and manual palpation)

With exception of Artificial Insemination, the applicant need not possess all the skills to perform the above tasks however be willing and capable of learning these. The position is full time however we would consider part time. Further studies to advance knowledge and skills in the area of bovine reproduction will be encouraged.
Salary to be determined on skills and degree of training required.
