Christmas help wanted and beyond at Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital. 

It is coming up to Christmas and our furry pets are requring a bit more support over the busy festive season.

On this basis we are looking to recruit veterinary receptionist casuals.

At Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, we promote the joy of pet ownership and cultivate long term client relationships that are based on a high standard of care.  We achieve this by investing in the well being and development of our staff.

We are a busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team of 35 members comprising of veterinarians, nurses and administrative staff.

 

The Role

This is a Christmas work opportunity with training starting in November, 2023.

The successful applicant will be the face of the practice providing customer service to a high standard.

This is a casual position with the possibility of permanency.   The practice is open to the public six days a week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm and Saturdays 8am to 3pm).

 

Who we need

The successful candidate will either have previous receptionist experience, or customer service experience.  They will need to present themselves in a confident and professional manner, have a mature outlook, be able to pay attention to detail. They will need to be able to work under pressure and have effective verbal and written communication skills and be a team player. Further there is a requirement to work within company policy and OH&S guidelines. Experience with Cornerstone Software and Veterinary Reception would be advantageous but not essential.
