THE OPPORTUNITY
TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry expertise in Animal Care to join our team of teachers at out Bankstown and Campbelltown campuses. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
In the role you will have sound and up-to-date knowledge of your subject areas, reflecting current industry practice to construct and guide the educative process. You will deliver face-to-face and facilitate practical learning at the Bankstown and Campbell Town campuses.

ABOUT YOU
Student outcomes are about more than the course material, industry current equipment and having a great teacher. It is also vitally important that you are keeping pace of rapidly emerging trends and can bring your passion for the industry into the classroom to teach the next generation.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Certificate III or higher in an animal care qualification.
- Have a minimum of three years relevant and current post qualification experience in the animal care industry.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Current knowledge of the animal care industry
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills applicable to an educational setting?
