About the Role
The Casual Education Presenter role is part of the Education Team, and is offered on a casual basis.
Education Presenters provide a wide range of education programs and interpretive services for AM visitors. They deliver high quality formal and informal education programs developed with a many-ways learning pedagogy and aligned to the NSW curriculum including science, history, First Nations and Pasifika content. Regular delivery of face-to-face and online education programs is the primary role, for a diverse range of audiences including, preschool, primary, secondary, and tertiary students and teachers. Successful candidates for this position will have the opportunity to learn content and deliver a range of educator-led programs that are offered at the AM. When required Education Presenters will also assist in the research, design and development of education programs and resources.

This is Clerk Grade 3/4 role. You will be paid $46.88 - $51.33 per hour plus casual loadings.
About You
You will be:
- passionate about delivering curriculum-aligned programs in one or more content areas (Science K-6, Biology, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Geography, History, Modern History, History Elective, History Extension) for one or more audience types (early years, primary or secondary students).
- comfortable interacting with a diverse group of people to deliver engaging educational programs.
- highly organised and work to deadlines, demonstrating efficient time management.
We welcome applications from candidates who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or Pasifika.
Your Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering scripted education programs to a variety of audiences.
- Understanding of the formal education sector, interpretation and curriculum requirements around science, history, geography and First Nations and Pasifika cultures.
- Ability to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in this Role Description.
Essential Requirements
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Clearance.
