AVet Health is a start-up veterinary pharmaceutical company dedicated to helping veterinary practices become more successful by creating engaging consumer brands and developing innovative pharmaceutical solutions, exclusively for veterinary customers.  Our vet-exclusive companion animal brand, Wagg & Purr, is now stocked in over 750 clinics nationally and is growing every month with new product launches and new customers coming on board.

We are looking for a proactive, agile, and high performing Business Development Manager in Adelaide that revels in partnering with their customers to create mutual success. Key Tasks

  • Identifying and planning for new business and growth opportunities within your defined territory
  • Creating and fostering mutually beneficial and long-lasting relationships between veterinary customers and AVet
  • Taking a customer first approach to the sales process by identifying and designing solutions that create opportunities or solve problems for customers
  • Creating, presenting, and negotiating new business opportunities and proposals
  • Winning new business and gaining commitment from customers to support the AVet product portfolio
  • Delivering marketing campaigns and promotions to customers and achieving business KPIs and metrics
  • Maintaining and updating accurate and complete data in AVet’s Salesforce CRM

  • You have previous experience in a B2B sales role within the veterinary industry
  • You have previous experience with Salesforce CRM (beneficial but not essential)
