We’re currently seeking a passionate animal health Business Account Manager to join our Australian sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong business consultant to partner with veterinarian and clinic owners across a diverse range of high quality existing and new products and services supporting the animal health industry. This position is offered on a full time, basis and supports an assigned territory in Victoria which includes both Greater Melbourne and a country run.
You’ll contribute to the growth and success of your territory by:
- Analysing relevant sales information and market data to identify potential business growth
- Developing mutually business relationships with potential customers and winning them over through presentations which demonstrate our value proposition
- Supporting our existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through acting as a genuine consultant to their business and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives and our value add services
- Providing an all round excellent customer experience through regular contact with clients, strong follow through on requests and commitments and working closely with other Covetrus employees to ensure a seamless customer experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business
- A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for our customers
- Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry
- A current drivers license and the ability to travel as required
- Previous sales experience in the veterinarian or agriculture industry (preferred)
- Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar (desired)
This position will require travel within greater Melbourne and an assigned country run. Successful applicants can anticipate travelling away from home for at least one week per month.
