Part Time Veterinary Practice Manager - Private Practice

We are a boutique privately owned vet clinic in the heart of Camberwell. As a team we are a tight knit group that support each other, working cohesively toward the common goal of doing the best for each patient while also having a bit of fun as we do it!

We are looking for a dedicated Practice Manager with a passion for motivating people and building a positive team culture. As our practice manager you will be actively providing leadership and guidance to a team that is devoted to providing the highest standards of veterinary care.

About the role:

• Managing the day-to-day operational requirements of running a veterinary clinic in conjunction with the clinic directors
• Payroll , HR (including staff performance reviews, support & professional development), financial  record keeping & monitoring, KPI reporting.
• Rostering & staff coordination to meet clinic needs
• Supporting the team to ensure there is strong communication amongst all and motivating the team to meet their goals
• Coordinate monthly staff meetings and follow up.
• Client liaison including feedback & complaints
• Marketing & Public relations including keeping the website & social media up to date
• Recruitment and induction of new team members
• Develop and implement Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation
• Develop and improve the clinic processes and procedures
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance

About you:

• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• Great rapport building with both colleagues and clients
• Previous experience as a Practice Manager or Senior Administrative role
• Adaptable and have the ability to support change within the team and clinic

This position is part time, offering 16-20 hours per week. We are a very supportive team with a strong focus on continuing education, offering  learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth.
