This is an outstanding opportunity to join Apiam Bendigo Equine Hospital to assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses in the preparation for and performance of consultations, surgery, medical treatment, hospitalisation for both inpatients and outpatients at our facility located in White Hills.  

Our Role

The key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with admission and discharge appointments
• Surgical nursing and general nursing of surgical and medical cases
• Provision of critical and emergency care
• Assisting with radiology and ultrasound
• Assisting veterinarians during procedures

• Preparation and cleaning of hospital areas
• Provision of outstanding customer service

Qualifications

Experience in horse handling is mandatory.

Candidates with a qualification in Equine Management, Veterinary Nursing or an interest in furthering their studies would be highly regarded.
