About This Role:
The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University invites applications for a Clinical Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Equine Theriogenology/Field Service. Applicants must hold a DVM degree or equivalent. Board certification or board eligible by ABVP, ACT or ACVIM-LA is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with established experience in equine ambulatory practice that includes proficiency with equine theriogenology skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide didactic and clinical instruction in equine theriogenology for veterinary students, interns and residents. The candidate must maintain a high quality equine clinical service, and be committed to teaching veterinary students, building caseload and providing excellent service and communication to VHC clients. Equine theriogenology / ambulatory clinical service, teaching and outreach activities will comprise the majority of this appointment. Specific service appointment considerations and potential research opportunities are negotiable depending on the professional goals of the candidate and the needs of the department and teaching hospital. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
