An exciting and diverse position has become available for an enthusiastic individual to join our existing team as a full time Artficial Breeding Technician based in Woodend North Canterbury.

Xcell is a reproductive technology company that encompasses all the major livestock species cattle, sheep and deer.

The company specilises in:

• Semen collection, processing and storage
• Embryo transfer
• Artificial insemination
• Fertility testing

Experience in artificial insemination in Cattle is an essential pre-requisite for this job along with large animal stock handling skills.

Repsonsbilties

• Semen Collection of Bulls and Rams
• Animal Health Testing and monitoring
• Stock Feeding
• Artificial Insemination of Cattle
• Preparation, cleaning and sterlisation of equipment
• Assisting with Veterinarian procedures such as embryo transfer
• Accurate data recording

The successful applicant will be required to travel within NZ and must have a full drivers license and weekend roster stock feeding work is required.
