Market leading animal health company seeking a new sales professional –Central Queensland/Rockhampton.

Reporting to the QLD/NT Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key distributors, opinion leaders, rural retailers and end users.
  • Developing, implementing and controlling sales activity plans.
  • Managing sales and expense budgets for the region.
  • Reporting on sales activities and results.

 

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Sales experience within the animal health or rural industries is preferred.
  • Your ability to combine technical selling with street sense and develop rapport with rural resellers and livestock producers alike will be critical to your success in this role.
  • You will be a commercially focused individual who is able to demonstrate exceptional communication, organization, presentation, negotiation and planning skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an agribusiness or technical discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Graduates of Veterinary, Animal Science or similar disciplines are also encourages to apply.
  • A current driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout the territory on a regular basis are essential.
