Global animal health company seeking a new sales professional – Central VIC/TAS.
Virbac (Australia) Pty Ltd is a specialist animal health company with its core business in sheep and cattle products, veterinary pharmaceuticals and vaccines, a wide range of pet care products for dogs and cats, plus a broad range of products for horses.
Due to an internal promotion, Virbac Australia has an exciting opportunity for a passionate salesperson to join our Companion Animal team, to help grow our exciting new pet care portfolios in our companion animal range.
This role is responsible for the Central Victoria and Tasmania region. This full-time position is integral to driving business objectives and growth in the region.

The key areas of accountability for this role are:
- Developing and maintaining strong sales and customer relationships;
- Achieving agreed sales and business targets;
- Identifying and driving opportunities and following up on leads and advances in the territory;
- Growing market share for the Virbac Companion Animal business; and
- Staff training and education on Virbac products and services.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
- An ability to operate autonomously, as well as part of a team;
- A proven track record of selling and/or Veterinary /Pharmaceutical industry experience;
- Tertiary qualifications (e.g. Veterinary Nursing) would be highly preferred;
- Experience in driving sales and results in the region and developing customer relationships;
- Strong motivation to develop business and achieve goals, as well as being flexible, proactive, and timely in reacting to market conditions and customers;
- Strong computer skills and a good understanding of CRM and data management programs.
