Our client is a successful Australian owned National FMCG organisation that supplies products to grocery, food service and industrial markets. They are now looking for a Systems Manager in their Animal Welfare department to drive efficiency's and profitability in their Western Sydney office.

Description

This newly created position will work collaboratively with the independent primary providers who supply the business on a daily basis.
The key objectives of this role include building relationships and working closely with producers to ensure Health, Safety and Quality of the animal welfare standards are met. You will promote and utilise the company recording and monitoring systems to best effect efficient production and ensure good information flow between the producer and the manufacturing plants.

Profile

The role will be split between field base and head office. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of animal primary production, demonstrate excellent communication skills and have confidence to work on their own initiative, providing exceptional support to the producers and Supply Chain team.

In addition you will have

• A higher level tertiary qualification in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science or related discipline
• Auditing qualification or experience
• Proven track record in a similar role in the primary production industry
