Salary: Starting salary £26,000.
Salary range £26,000 to £33,600 per annum. Appointments are normally made at the starting salary. Future progression is based on annual performance review.
Hours per week: 35 hours per week (Full Time)

Summary of Role
The prime objective and role of an Animal Technician is to assist with the day to day husbandry and welfare of laboratory animals together with offering scientific support to the research community, working within a framework of the Home Office Codes of Practice. The post holder will have responsibility for the day-to-day care and welfare of laboratory animals. They will work collaboratively with the Manager of Biological Services and the Named Persons.
