Position: Animal and Service Technician
What You Will Do:

  • Provide compassionate daily care, monitoring, and maintenance of laboratory animals and equipment.
  • Ensure the breeding, feeding, and hygiene of animals and facilities are meticulously maintained.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of animals to client groups in alignment with service requirements.
  • Uphold rigorous standards for up-to-date and accurate data collection.
  • Execute essential breeding procedures including weaning, record-keeping, and animal identification.
  • Provide appropriate food and water tailored to specific species and experimental protocols.
  • Perform routine cage changes and maintain cleanliness of pens.

  • Hands-On Experience: Previous experience working with mice and/or rats in a laboratory or similar setting.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • This is a casual role with availability required from Monday to Friday.
