This research organisation is located close to the Melbourne CBD. They require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source an Animal Technician to join the team.

About the role:

This role is working full time hours and requires flexible shift work.
Reporting through to the QC Manager, this role will involve:

• Monitor animal health and conduct dosing of animals (e.g. mice)
• Perform immunoassay, toxicity testing and potency assays
• Maintain animal health and wellbeing
• Perform euthanasia of animals when required
• General laboratory housekeeping

About you:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in a related discipline
• Experience in laboratory animal handling, care and euthanasia
• Demonstrated experience in a laboratory
• Quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Recent graduates who may have completed a project involving the handling of animals are encouraged to apply!
