Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the animal health industry?

A leading global manufacturer (think: Global Ag giant) seeks a highly motivated Key Account Manager to drive sales and manage key customer relationships within the Animal Nutrition sector across Australia and New Zealand.

In this multi-faceted role, you'll wear several hats, excelling in:

  • Strategic Account Management: Cultivate and nurture existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Technical Sales Expertise: Translate complex product information into digestible benefits for clients, maximizing value perception.
  • Business Development: Implement creative strategies to raise brand awareness and expand market share within the ANZ region.
  • Sales Goal Achievement: Develop and execute winning sales plans, consistently exceeding ambitious targets.
  • Procurement & Logistics: Oversee the ordering, transportation, and delivery of products, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate with customers to generate accurate demand forecasts and prepare insightful reports.
  • Industry Representation: Become the face of the company, representing it at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

 

To thrive in this role, you'll possess:

  • A university degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in animal feed ingredients, additives, or health products.
  • A results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and a focus on value-based selling.
  • The ability to excel in a team environment while also demonstrating autonomous initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • A demonstrated track record of building successful sales pipelines (a plus).
  • Existing relationships with key industry players (e.g., Inghams, Skretting, etc.) is highly desirable.
