The Role

As an Animal Nursing Assistant, you will:

• Assist veterinary nurses with daily animal care tasks.
• Provide love and comfort to animals in our care.
• Clean and maintain animal enclosures, equipment, and facilities.
• Prepare and administer food, and enrichment to veterinary patients, wildlife and stray animals.
• Assist Veterinary Reception to provide care to clients.
• Work in a 24-hour hospital with shift work across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• A strong desire to work in the Veterinary Industry.
• A willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to work.
• Basic knowledge of animal care (preferred but not essential).
• Completion of year 12 with a QCE certificate or equivalent
