What would you do?
You'll deliver training to classes of approx. 20 students, in our live, virtual classroom or face-to-face workshop sessions.
- Your lived experience in Animal Management and Animal welfare will support your contextualised delivery of:
- animal handling in an enforcement context
- animal regulation in an enforcement capacity
- building professional resilience and communication,
- relevant legislation and the application of powers, - Marking of assessment in a timely manner, ensuring that VET compliance requirements are met
- Provide your students with additional support as needed to ensure they can confidently complete their assessments
- Undertake regular Professional Development with your fellow trainers and maintain your industry knowledge
- This course is delivered once every three weeks. As part of this specialist team your schedule will align with this framework
What you'll bring:
Essential criteria:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40110, incl. TAELLN411 & TAEESS502
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an Enforcement role in Animal welfare or Local Laws (animal management)
- Australian Business Number for sole trader
Key selection criteria:
- Experience as a trainer and assessor (preferred)
- An engaged, empathetic and enthusiastic personality with a strong passion for sharing your knowledge and helping others learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and independently, whilst keeping up communication with the broader team
