We currently have a full-time position available for an Animal Health Specialist.

You do not to be located in Warrnambool for this position but need to be in a convenient South West Victorian location.

About the role:

You will be working with our Animal Health Specialists helping maintain the close relationships we have with our customers both on and off farm.  Over time you will build a portfolio of customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with our experienced Animal Health team within our business, providing technical support to our customer base, together with product sales both in store and on farm.
• Sourcing samples and sending them away for parasite tests.
• Developing strategies and programmes for customers Animal Health requirements on farm.
• Establishing strong relationships with our customers while dealing with the breadth of products they need.
• Staying up to date with the latest Animal Health practices.
• Working closely with our existing specialists and Store team to co-ordinate delivery of customers’ orders.

You should have:

• Either practical, relevant experience on farm or a tertiary qualification in Animal Health.
• A strong understanding of pasture based animal farming practices, primarily in the Sheep and Beef industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills, complemented with good written and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in Animal Health as a career path.
