International Animal Health is a manufacturer of animal health products with its head office based in Sydney.  This family owned company has been a leader in developing and manufacturing animal health products for over 30 years.

The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager your focus will be to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to a portfolio of existing customers in New Zealand
• Seek out new customers across New Zealand
• Grow revenue in New Zealand through introducing new products and solutions to your customers

This role demands that you have the passion and ability to work independently as a specialist and trusted advisor in this field, maintaining and building sustainable and profitable client relationships.

Importantly, you must have a sound knowledge of cattle and horses and a natural affinity for working with country-based clients and corporates together with a proven track record of selling within a rural industry.  Networking and customer product training sessions will be a central part to your success.

Please note, due to the size of the rural sales territory, this role does require that you travel extensively, usually staying away for 3 nights a week. Your territory will cover the whole of New Zealand.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A track record of growing revenue from existing accounts
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ sales experience with a sound knowledge of cattle and horses
• Proven sales success against targets in a rural B2B environment
• Strong consultative approach to sales
• Genuine commitment to providing a quality service

You will be:

• A highly motivated self-starter able to work autonomously
• Prepared to travel during the working week with overnight stays
• A sales professional who readily takes ownership of targets and delivers results
• Focused on developing strong relationships to grow existing accounts
• Committed to acquiring significant new business
