ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Learning Online tutor your role will be focused around the support and tutelage of our online students. This includes but is not limited to welcoming new students daily, marking student assignment submissions and offering your expertise and support to answer any questions they may have.

Currently we have over 10,000 active online students. You will be speaking to and managing these students over the phone and via email alongside our other tutor team members (13 full time members).

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to build rapport quickly and be engaging over the phone
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Clear confident phone manner
• A team player who enjoys working in a young, fast paced, dynamic team environment
• Growth mindset with the ability to adapt to changes
• Available to work Saturdays if required
• Full time working rights. WHVs welcome to apply, no student visas
• Someone with a recent certificate, diploma or degree in an Animal industry related field.

Teaching experience or background is preferred but not mandatory (TAE or Tutoring experience is highly favourable)

THE HOURS:
Monday – Friday 10.00 am - 6.00 pm
Short Saturday shifts may be required from time to time
