What are some of the day to day duties for you at Edgar's Mission?

• accountable for ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to the farmed animal residents.
• Ensuring the animals physical and emotional needs are met at all times
• Management of a high functioning sanctuary animal care team.
• Ensuring the preparation and implementation of the weekly rooster
• Conduct a daily review of the treatment sheets, and sanctuary tasks
• Ensuring animal health and rehabilitation programs are developed and
  implemented.

What are we looking for in someone joining us:

• Significant Veterinary or equivalent experience providing care and
  treatment of farmed animals.
• Experience in handling farmed animals
• Strong and respectful leadership with a demonstrated ability to manage and support team members
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards
• Good Physical fitness and the willingness where necessary, to perform
  manual and hands-on work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with excellent time management skills.
• Current Victorian Drivers License
• Working with Children’s Check
