Harrison Park Dorper and Pony Stud, Farm stay and Retreat - Agricultural Trainee
Hours: Full time - 38h/week or Part-time (negotiable) 20+ hr/week
Location: Yass NSW

About role:

Harrison Park Dorper and Pony Stud Farmstead and Retreat are seeking an amazing team member Agriculture trainee to support business activities while working towards and completing a Certificate III in Agriculture.
You will work with a friendly and supportive team, and as part of your on-the-job training, you will complete a nationally accredited qualification in Certificate III in Agriculture. The training will focus on developing your skills and knowledge in all aspects of farm operations to set you on the path for your career ahead.

About Traineeship:
- Traineeship in Agriculture Certificate III – Either at Goulburn TAFE HERE Or Aussie Ag training HERE -20% work hours are spent in training.
- 12-month traineeship
- Bonus payment for milestone of certificate completion.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
- Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
- Enjoy physical work and hands-on work and working outdoors with livestock
- Be available to work some early mornings, some weekends and do some farm-sitting duties in a scheduled manner.
- Be passionate about working in the Australian agriculture industry
- Understand the importance of working in a team environment and value your own contribution to the team
- Have a passion for learning and personal growth to successfully complete your Certificate III in Agriculture in 12 months.
