Arubial Pty Ltd, situated on the Western Darling Downs QLD, operates as a feedlot, stud and cropping aggregation, trading as Lillyvale Feedlot and Arubial Pty Ltd.

We currently have a position available in our feedlot division for 4 Agricultural Technicians.

About The Role:

Reporting to the Feedlot General Manager and working alongside our existing feedlot staff to ensure the animals welfare

Planning, creation and monitoring of all livestock feed rations, ensuring desired results.
Manage handling of all livestock to ensure all stock are handled in a professional and humane manner meeting the Australian Model Code of Practice for the Welfare of Animals.
Manage animal health, including identification and treatment of parasites.
Carry out handling and treatment of livestock as outlined in the Animal Health Protocol and report serious conditions to Management/resident Veterinarian, this includes spraying for parasites and pests, and medicating animals as required using approved methods.
Comply with the companies work place health and safety policies and procedures
Completion of all necessary paper work regarding livestock entering, leaving or moving within the feedlot
Reporting to Farm or Feedlot Manager

About you:

This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in this position or a similar position.
