Description

LIC have been providing innovative farming solutions for over 100 years, and today, we're proudly NZ's leading Agri-tech and dairy herd improvement cooperative. We are a part of a wider NZ Inc. and play a key role in driving economic growth in NZ. We achieve this through our world-renowned genetics and technology products, which create more sustainable and profitable farms.

About the Role

This role is part of the NZ Markets group which operates as the network to our customers and customer voice.

We're looking for a sales professional to join our dynamic, solutions-focused team, who put the customer at the centre of everything they do.  You'll be able to draw on significant resource while maintaining a good deal of freedom to provide tailored solutions to customers on a case-by-case basis.

Preferably you would reside in or around the wider Franklin area, with connections to the area.

About You

As the face of LIC on-farm, you'll display strong empathy toward farmers and the challenges they face in running their businesses.  You will be comfortable talking the language of the dairy farmer and you will understand the impact genetic decisions can have on animal wellbeing and the environment, along with farm profitability.

You will be responsible to tactically manage and lead a high value business relationship plan with your farmers, using excellent account plan management processing and skills. You'll easily meet operational deadlines that will ensure our farmers needs are meet in a timely manner.

As a sales professional, you'll have the necessary drive, ambition, and determination to meet or exceed sales targets as directed through LIC's strategic annual plan, in key areas where growth is projected. You will be tasked with identifying and delivering on the target with an overview of the activity required to reach or exceed these.

In Return

In addition to a competitive salary, you'll receive extra leave days, flexible working options, discounted health, life, income and disability insurances, wellbeing discounts, a vehicle for work and private use, an employee assistance programme, plus more!

The role provides the opportunity to join a progressive and forward-thinking organisation, at the cutting edge of agri-tech, where you'll play a role in driving the future of dairy in NZ.

If you're after a rewarding and social career that offers development, learning and truckloads of exceptional experiences then look no further, you've found it.  At LIC we are leading the way and we would love to welcome you to the team.
