Description
We have a unique opportunity for an Equine Ambulatory Veterinarian to join our team on a permanent basis. This role would also provide the opportunity to work with a senior equine surgical specialist in lameness and surgery 2 days a week.
An exciting new era is dawning at the iconic Agnes Banks Equine Centre with very highly respected equine specialist surgeon Christine Smith back leading the team! This position would involve working alongside Christine for 2 days a week as a veterinary assistant providing an outstanding learning opportunity. As part of the expanding Apiam Animal Health group of regional and rural veterinary clinics across Australia, Agnes Banks Equine Centreis committed to enriching the lives of animals, people and the communities where we live.
We are a progressive equine veterinary practice that is located on the western fringe of Sydney. Our team are highly skilled and we are committed to providing routine and referral equine veterinary care within the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas.
In this role there is opportunity to grow and specialise in:
- Racetrack horses (Thoroughbred and Standardbred)
- Performance horses
- Reproduction
