We are currently searching for an experienced passionate Adoption Centre Manager to join us at our beautiful new facilities in Camberfield.

This role is a key member of the team, responsible for the humane
treatment of animals, supervising shelter staff and volunteers, overseeing facility and equipment maintenance, inventory, and budgets.
This role is also responsible for customer service duties, including all Shelter
staff interactions with volunteers, foster and adoption families, and the public at large.
Though the duties are largely administrative, you are required to directly interact with the animals in our care while supporting other staff or volunteers.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about animals, and have prior relevant experience.
DUTIES
Effective management and continued improvement to day to day operation in the adoption centre
Development and Implementation of Operational Procedures
Management of allocated Operating Budgets
Responsible for Supplies Inventory
Responsible for 'appropriate screening and placement based on the animals individual needs
Responsible for the positive experience of all visitors, including volunteers, surrendering families, potential adoptive families, sponsors and donors, tour groups and individuals.
Team Building and Staff Development: Responsible for hiring, training, and
ongoing management of staff.
Promote and actively support all ongoing fundraising activities and events. This includes active participation in fundraising activities and events that may occur outside of regular business hours.
You will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ companion animal services or welfare related experience
- Exceptional animal and client care standards
- Ability to collaboratively manage cases with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- A flexible, friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently
