Summary: Part time adjunct faculty needed to teach courses in the Veterinary Technology (AAS) program. Duties include teaching, lab/classroom maintenance.  Preference given to those with related industry credentials (CVT/RVT). 
 

Required Qualifications:

• Veterinary Technology/Technician Associate’s degree (or higher) from an AVMA accredited program or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• A minimum of 4000 hours (approximately 2 years’ full time) related professional work experience in the field of veterinary medicine; hands-on experience working with live animals in a variety of species within the past 7 years

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified/Registered Veterinary Technician, holding an active license, in good standing

• Previous teaching experience 

 
Salary: $600-$850 per credit hour. Adjunct faculty are paid on a per credit hour basis, commensurate with highest degree held.
