An exciting opportunity has opened up at our After Hours Veterinary Emergency Centre (AHVEC) in Hobart for a full-time Practice Manager to manage the operational requirements of the Hospital.
Acting as the first point of contact for our clients and staff, this dynamic role is suited to an energetic, friendly and highly organised individual who thrives on making a difference – to pets, to their owners and to our team.

Your main responsibilities will be stock management, staff coordination, rostering, relationship management and leading a positive team environment.
You will be exceptional at multi-tasking and managing multiple stakeholders, from veterinarians and nurses to suppliers, as well as animals and their owners.
Focusing on creating and fostering a positive team culture, you will be a people person that loves to see your colleagues thrive at work and takes pride in helping them develop and shine.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the equipment used and expenses associated with a veterinary hospital, evidenced by prior experience in a Veterinary Clinic either as an experienced nurse or in practice management.
Your flexible approach to work, sense of team and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels will often see you working alongside the team, either in a clinical capacity or on reception, fostering the sense of leadership and collaboration that we value.
