The Faculty of Science is one of six faculties operating within the University and includes the Schools of Chemistry, Geosciences, Life and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics, Psychology, the Sydney School of Veterinary Science and the Unit for History and Philosophy of Science. The Faculty stewards a range of research entities including the Sydney Institute of Agriculture and the Lambert Initiative for Cannabinoid Therapeutics, and partners with University-wide research centres including the Charles Perkins Centre (CPC), the Brain and Mind Centre (BMC) and the Australian Institute for Nanoscale Science and Technology (AINST).

About the role

Reporting to the School Manager, the Senior Project Officer- Curriculum Management, will be responsible for administrative leadership, development, implementation, review and evaluation of the operating model for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at School, Faculty and University levels. This role leads the administrative and logistical progress of the DVM utilising project management approaches, and maintains high-level curriculum data and information for the purposes of mapping, constructive alignment, and responding to domestic and international accreditation standards.

  • Relevant¬†tertiary¬†qualification¬†or¬†combination¬†of¬†qualifications¬†and¬†extensive¬†relevant¬†experience

  • Capacity¬†to¬†monitor¬†and meet¬†compliance¬†with¬†wide range of¬†administrative¬†policies,¬†systems, procedures;
  • Demonstrated¬†ability¬†to¬†establish¬†and¬†maintain¬†effective¬†collaborative¬†and¬†productive¬†working¬†relationships;
  • Experience working¬†in¬†higher education.
