Quality Control Manager – Virbac – Sydney NSW

We need a customer focused, compliance driven QC Manager to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of our laboratory to produce compliant, timely and cost effective results.

Your key areas of accountability will include:

  • People Management
  • Laboratory Management
  • Laboratory systems compliance
  • Ensuring quality of all test results
  • Production disposition
  • Budget management
  • Project Management

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of testing systems
  • High knowledge in laboratory systems and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret required market standards and applicable regulatory documents; and pharmacopoeia
  • Trouble shooting abilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Sound planning and organisational skills – with strict attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices related to people management and the ability to manage individuals and teams
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • A Science degree coupled with at least 5 years experience working in a laboratory testing environment

Your ability to analyse problems and situations and establish efficient plans will go a long way in helping you to deliver a customer focused, results driven team.  Your excellent communication skills will facilitate building cross-cultural and cross functional collaboration to deliver business goals and results.
