The Role

An opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary professional with recent experience in Veterinary Anaesthesia to join the College of Veterinary Medicine. The preferred candidate will contribute to the teaching efforts of the College, including lecture preparation and delivery, workshops, clinical sessions and assessment. The role will also participate in services as required at The Animal Hospital at Murdoch, and develop innovative teaching practices within the discipline.

Skills and Experience

Key essential criteria include:

  • A degree in Veterinary Science registrable with the Veterinary Surgeons’ Board of Western Australia.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in veterinary anaesthesia
  • Specialist qualification in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia

Candidates with experience in teaching postgraduate students enrolled in specialist programs, and a higher academic qualification (e.g. Masters) in a related field will be highly regarded.  Please refer to the Position Description for further detail on the duties, skills and experience required for this role.
